You can’t fix stupid. Seriously. O’Reilly is Irish. And as Paddys Lamentation points out, it wasn’t all that for the Irish back in the day.

Compromise is not a dirty word.  Maybe the former First Lady should have a sit down about that with Bill O’Reilly.

Steve Ford, recalling his mother Former First Lady Betty Ford, upon moving in to the White House:

On why he lost:

That Obamacare isn’t free notwithstanding, this coming from the guy who said the ER was a better alternative for the less fortunate than affordable insurance. Not only that, it’s highly unlikely Mr. $21 million dollar a year guy has the faintest idea of what it takes to function in this country on $25,000 or $30,000, 40,000 a year.

But Governor Christie of the great state of New Jersey said it best:

You can’t expect to be a leader of all the people and be divisive. You have to talk about themes, policies that unite people, and play to their aspirations and their goals and their hopes for their family and their neighbors.”
