So little time. So much to say. C’est la vie.
So, we decided to post about some things you may not have heard/read about. And heeerreee we go!

Do you believe that our Constitution is a “living-breathing document”? Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia doesn’t think so. He believes it “died” over 200 years ago. According to him, our Constitution must be interpreted precisely as it was written and under the same societal conditions in which the founders lived. Hmm. Apparently, Justice Scalia believes persons of color should still be considered 3/4 of a person. How’s that for interpreting our Constitution precisely as originally written, o ye of the distinctly olive complexion? Gee, we wonder if he writes his opinions with quill and ink? After all, we’re talking about a catholic who told a reporter to “vaffanculo” (translated literally, it means “go f**k an a@@”) inside the Cathedral of the Holy Cross at Sunday mass. Let’s repeat that last part, INSIDE the Cathedral of the Holy Cross at SUNDAY MASS!.

And here’s one from Rep. Paul Broun, Republican from the great state of Georgia:
“All that stuff I was taught about evolution and embryology and the Big Bang Theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of Hell,” Broun said in a recent speech at the Liberty Baptist Church Sportsman’s Banquet. “And it’s lies to try to keep me and all the folks who were taught that from understanding that they need a savior.”
Never you mind that some of the greatest discoveries in science were made by those the most devout in their faith. Like Copernicus, Galileo and Newton. Just goes to prove that a brain is a terrible thing to waste, Mr. Broun. Perhaps you should have paid more attention in class.
